Waterproof leather: All the leather used in the construction of the boots is waterproof. After excessive use the leather can be treated with most leather conditioners, water and stain resistant products.
Pendleton Woolen Mills is famous for their beautiful woolen native designed blankets. The wool contains natural lanolin that repels water like” water off a ducks back". For most puddle jumping and snow storms your feet will stay dry and warm. Fabric Guard can be used to spray on the wool to make it easier to spot clean if they were to get mud or dirt on them. It is not neccessary.
Wool Fleece Lining: Benefit; Warm and cozy feet. By nature wool is thermostatic and breathable leaving your feet dry and warm in cold temperatures and cool and dry in warmer temperatures. Can it get any better than that!
Made in Canada: Making it in Canada when most of the footwear industry has gone off shore benefits all of us here in North America. As a small company I am proud to boast about this and it is my belief that there is a strong undercurrent of consumers wanting to buy their footwear and clothing made in Canada. My boots cost a little more but when you compare Paul Brodie Footwear with other footwear made offshore in the same price range, there is no comparison. You get what you pay for and we stand behind it. We hope you love them, wear them proudly and tell your friends!
